Launching the municipal role in women's protection in Mazar-e-Sharif City

A ceremony to mark ( The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) was held with participation of Abdulhaq Khurami, mayor of Mazar-e-Sharif, Muhammad Bashir Tohidi, deputy governor of Balkh province, and Shahla Hadid, head of women's affairs of Balkh province.

The ceremony was attended by a number of heads of government departments, representatives of civil and legal entities, women's rights activists, representatives of Shahre Office, representatives of associate offices, advisory council members, various directors and managers of municipality, university professors and youths.

This ceremony which is launched by Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality with technical and financial colaboration of Shahre Office; speakers spoke about status of women, and providing opportunities for women's growth, and development of women.
