The quarantine of Mazar-sharif extends for 10 more days.

Today, 29/04/2020, the second session of the Emergency Committee of Fighting the Coronavirus held under Mohammad Es-haq Rahgozar the Governor of Balkh Province.
In this session, Mohammad Bashir Tawhidi and Shojauddin Shoja the deputies of Balkh PGO, Doctor Mohammad Afzal Hadid the Chief of Balkh Provincial Council, Colonel Ajmal Fayez the Chief of Balkh Police Headquarters, Colonel Haroon Haidar the Chief of Balkh National Security and Abdulhaq Khurami the Mayor of Mazar-sharif had participated.
At first, on behalf of Balkh Public Health Directorate, Dr. Gawhari presented a detailed report on coronavirus outbreak and it's upward trend in Balkh Province.
Afterwards, Mohammad Es-haq Rahgozar the Governor welcomed the participants of the session and praised the activities of the Emergency Committee fighting the coronavirus and the health staff then added: "practicing a 100 percent lockdown has proven good for the people and the said commission has achieved positive results. The role of national business people had been excellent in terms of distributing donations to the destitutes and the Donations Committee is to identify the poor people and donate them."
Subsequently, each of the attendees in the session shared their plans in details on the extension of the lockdown to prevent the coronavirus. Besides, Doctor Mohammad Afzal Hadid the Chief of Balkh Provincial Council appreciated the joint efforts of the members of the commission of fighting the coronavirus and spoke about how to extend the quarantine.
At the end, the leadership and the members of the Commission of Fighting the Coronavirus declared the continuation of mazar-sharif lockdow for ten more days through a declaration with laying down some conditions of crisis management to prevent the upward trend of coronavirus.
