Contract Award Announcement for the Asphalt Paving and Surfacing of the Ring Road from Fath Mosque to Dasht-e-Shor, Located in Districts 7 and 8.

Pursuant to Paragraph 2 of Article 43 of the Procurement Law, all companies are hereby informed that the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality intends to award the Contract for Asphalt Paving and Surfacing of the Ring Road from Fath Mosque to Dasht-e-Shor, located in Districts 7 and 8 of Mazar-e-Sharif, with Identification Number MAZ/MUN 1405/002, to Elias Wais Construction and Road Construction Company and Bikh Istanbul Asia International Construction Company, holders of licenses No. D-0102030 and D-21746, respectively, at a total contract price of AFN 317,942,584 (Three Hundred Seventeen Million, Nine Hundred Forty-Two Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Four Afghanis).

Any natural or legal person or company having any objection regarding this matter may submit their objection in writing, together with supporting reasons, to the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality, located east of the Holy Shrine, Balkh Province, within 5 (five) calendar days from the date of publication of this announcement, in accordance with the provisions of Article 50 of the Procurement Law.

This notice does not constitute the conclusion of the contract. The contract shall not be signed until the above-mentioned period has expired and the subsequent legal procedures have been completed.
